We begin instrumental study at the beginning of 6th grade. All students are given the opportunity to sign up for band. These students perform several concerts, solo contest and a festival at the end of the year. Our 7th and 8th grade band continues to develop musically by performing several times throughout the year. They perform at pep rallies, the Harvest Festival Parade, and several concerts throughout the year. They also perform at UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest and at the Greater Southwest Festival in Amarillo.
