Ms. Addison is joining the Oak Grove team as a 4th grade teacher.

Ms. Golden joins the Oak Grove team, assigned to 2nd grade.

Mr. Cory Golden becomes part of the BMS team, teaching math and coaching.

Rich graduated from Brownfield High School in 2002. Rich was a varsity tennis player for BHS. He attained an Associates Degree in 2004 from South Plains College and went on to graduate from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. He is currently certified to teach History and Social Studies.

Mr. Helmer is very excited to be Brownfield High School’s new Theater Arts and Speech Communications teacher. He will also be the yearbook sponsor for the 2007-08 school year. This is his fourth year as a teacher. He has been involved in theater for 17 years, with a bachelor’s degree in Theater Performance from McMurry University. He currently resides in Lubbock with his wife Becky, where he is involved with the Lubbock Community Theatre as an actor, director, and board member. Mr. and Mrs. Helmer are members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lubbock. He looks forward to a fantastic year with BHS and BISD.

Mr. Daniel Hinjosa joins the Middle School team as a history teacher and coach.

Ms. Dana Kirkland becomes a part of the Oak Grove team assigned to the 4th grade.

Ms. Dale Mayfield joins the High School team as the girls PE teacher and coach.

Colonial Heights welcomes Ms. Perdue to the team as a Pre-K teacher.

Ms. Sanders joins the Oak Grove team as a 4th grade teacher.

Ms. Gaye Scribner becomes a part of the Oak Grove team, assigned to 4th grade science.

Mr. Shipley joins the Brownfield High School team as the boys PE teacher and coach. Steven is a graduate of Littlefield High School and a 2003 graduate of Texas Tech. Coach Shipley has been teaching and coaching for 5 years. He and his wife Carie have two children, a son Ryan, and a daughter, Reagan.

Mr. Herman Shirley becomes a part of the BHS team assigned to teach science.

Oak Grove welcomes Tiffany Thompson to the team as a 4th grade teacher.

Tammy Wittenberg will be teaching government, economics, world geography and serving as cheerleader sponsor at Brownfield High School. A Kansas City native, Tammy graduated from the University of Missouri in 2000 and moved to Amarillo shortly thereafter. While living in Amarillo she completed her teaching degree and has been teaching since that time.
